Desired Experience: * 4+ years of Technical Support experience Required Skills and Experience: * 2+ years experience working in PDH/SDH/SONET Technologies (DS-0, T1, T3, E1, E3, SONET, SDH) * 2 years experience working in TWO of the following SP-focused technologies: -> ATM (PNNI,PVCs,SVCs) -> Frame Relay -> PPP/L2TP -> Packet SP Voice (MGCP, MEGACO, VoAAL1, VoAAL2, SS7) -> MLPPP -> IP QoS -> IP Service Control (L4 to L7) Cisco Certifications Required Desired Attributes: * Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing * Working with cross-functional team * Ability to determine problems and deliver known solutions * Ability to work effectively with and provide guidance to other members of the work group Desired skillsets are associated with the following certifications or technologies: CCNP, CCIE Typically requires BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred)or equivalent plus 2-5 years related experience. This position must reside in San Jose, CA.
