In this role, you will serve at the Public Sector level to identify, pursue and capture initiatives that have been identified in the classified and non classified cyber security portfolio. You will assist in defining and executing the overall Cyber Security Sales Strategy. You will work with a cross functional public sector team to drive the development and marketing of Cisco’s solutions specific to Cyber Security. You will collaborate with the Sales, Services, Corporate Development and Cisco partners. You will provide a consultative approach to understanding customer cyber security requirements within DoD, Intel and Civilian agencies. You will help shape and drive messaging and solutions that focus on leveraging Cisco’s breadth of product portfolio to mitigate and prevent cyber attacks. Qualified individuals will demonstrate working knowledge of Cisco’s cyber solutions, and exhibit a thorough understanding of government policies, directives, mandates and procedures as they relate and are relevant to cyber security. You will be responsible for engaging customers, supporting partner community, interaction with product business units and supporting thought leadership and marketing events. • Expert at understanding Cisco vision and technology; articulate the vision from the customer perspective and create unique, novel value propositions around Cisco's cyber solutions • Excellent understanding of customer business drivers and how to map these to a customer solution • Develop relationships and establish credibility with business leaders around the topic of Cyber security • Ability to collaborate and coordinate efforts across multiple internal teams and external partners Candidate should have at least 10+ years experience in Federal IT market within security and preferrably in the networking solutions. This position requires US government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements - including, but not limited to US Citizenship. Current TS/SCI clearance is required.
