Table.Right {float: Right;text-align: Right;border:0;padding:3px;} DIV.VEclearFloatAfterElement {clear:both;visibility:hidden;height:0px;} Requisition #: R914415 Location: UNITED STATES.CALIFORNIA.SAN JOSE Job Title: Manager, Global Incident Management Region: AMERICAS Area of Interest: Finance Level of Experience: Experienced - Manager Flexible Work Option: Yes Job Description: • Reports to the Director, Global Safety, Security & Business Resiliency (SSBR) and is responsible for protecting employees, property, revenue, assets and business resiliency through development and implementation of global policies, plans and training to manage incidents and to assist business units in the development and testing of business incident response plans. • Develops and implements global incident management policies, plans, training and exercises (i.e., drills) in collaboration with the organization’s stakeholders, executives and regional colleagues. • Will support the Incident Commanders (IC) on the Regional Incident Management Team (RIMT) and Local Incident Management Teams (LIMTs) as well as serve in a back up IC as appropriate. • Requires proven experience managing local, regional and global incidents. • Will be the facilitator of the Incident Management Working Group under the Risk and Resiliency Operating Committee (RROC). • Requires relationship management with internal departments such as Workplace Resources, Legal, Public/Government Relations, Governance Risk & Controls, Information Security and Human Resources. The position may also require interface with external response agencies, government officials and private industry counterparts. • Identifies, analyzes and evaluates a large volume of information and communicates accurately regarding recommendations on local, regional and global incident related risks and threats to the organization. • Will build sustainable competitive advantages through pragmatic, innovative, and business-focused security solutions with an emphasis on Return on Investment (ROI) analysis. • Will accomplish enterprise and department objectives by accounting for action plans, time tables and outcome measurements; obtaining and allocating resources, reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections as appropriate. • Will support and maintain the stewardship of incident management as part of the Business Resiliency Operations Plan. • Achieves financial goals by establishing objectives; developing and monitoring budgets; controlling and reducing costs; optimizing use of assets; development and key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. • Will communicate with all levels of the organization, including briefing executive management as well as operating teams on a regular basis. • Champion the volunteer employee Emergency Response Program. • May require management of personnel, including recruiting and selecting key employees; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, within HR guidelines • Supports employee productivity and satisfaction needs. • Must embrace the CLEAD criteria by earning trust, developing self and others, empowering teams and achieving results, shaping strategy and leading change through productive disruption. • Must embrace and act as an ambassador for the Department’s Organizational Principles. • Contributes to team effort by offering information and opinion as a member of management; integrating objectives with other functions; accomplishing special projects as needed • Will perform other duties as required to support SSBR initiatives and collaboration teams worldwide. EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE • BA required • Masters Degree preferable but not required. • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or other professional certifications a plus but not required. • Government or Law Enforcement emergency response background helpful but not required.
