Job Description: HR Connection –Cisco HR Shared Services

The HR Connection (HRC) is a global Cisco HR organization which provides internal HR shared services to employees, managers and HR stakeholders around the Cisco globe. The HRC organization is split into three regional teams (APAC, AMERCAS and EMEAR) and one global business operation support team. You will be part of the regional EMEAR (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia) HRC team supporting our clients in the 5 main EMEAR regions; North, Emerging, Central, UKI and South. We are excited to establish this core HRC operations team in Krakow as we plan for an EMEAR wide expansion of the HR shared services model. The team will have its main presence in Krakow with smaller presences in London, Moscow, Spain and Beirut. You will provide excellent customer service and will meet the demands of our employee and manager population. You will also be able to balance the need of this population with the need to protect Cisco policies/procedures as well as local and regional legislation.

HRC Specialist – Data, HR Systems and Documentation

The Role

 Manages HR web cases, providing best in class client experience for Cisco employees, managers and HR stakeholders. Use the Cisco case management system
 Management of generalist HR data and system related processes
 Ensure Oracle HR Mng system (HRMS) is accurate and data entry occurs according to Cisco HR SOX Compliance
 Manage generalist and regional specific documentation requests (I.e. Government forms, payroll forms, Employee Certificates, Loan support certificates, entity invitation letters on standard and ad hoc basis.)
 Manage key HR lifecycle processes such as regional and local termination, payroll, benefit and contract annex processes
 Escalates exceptions and complex requests using the established escalation model, to ensure accurate, timely and consistent case resolution
 Understanding of HR end to end processes and impact of HR data entry and processing
 Effective and appropriate management of sensitive data and information
 Participation in cross-functional projects to ensure end to end HR processes are seamless from a Data, systems interface and policy perspective
 Collaboration and Effective communication with internal HR stakeholders and HR ecosystem (i.e. Finance, IT ) including HRC Tier 2 teams, other regional HRC teams, Centre of excellence, HR managers and the HR tools and systems group.

Subject Matter Expertise
You will be assigned with a subject matter expertise field for which you will become the primary HRC escalation point for your team members and Client facing HR teams. You will be trained gradually within this area and have sound support frameworks in place which will include mentorship, Centre of Excellence and Program Manager escalation points. You will communicate relevant information and training and knowledge to your team members and act as an important link between the team and the Program Managers/COE teams. Subject Matter areas include, but are not limited to: Payroll, Employee Relations, Compensation, Annual HR programs, Stock, Staffing, Performance & Talent Management, HR Lifecycle Management and compliance. Team members will be able to rotate SME areas and thus gain wide-ranging relevant experience in and exposure to, different parts of HR, creating an ideal set of varied hard skills necessary to further your HR career.

Country/Regional Engagement

Over time you will develop the capability to manage and improve local and regional EMEAR processes and increase engagement and collaboration with the key HR stakeholder and partners based in region and/or country. A key requirement for performing this element of the role is language proficiency - bi-lingual standard writing/reading – as language does and will continue a big role in delivering HR on a local and regional level. Rotation opportunities are more limited due to the diverse language requirements and the need to build continuity and knowledge within this part of our operations. Process improvement, project work and collaboration platforms require in-depth knowledge of the region/country.

The Profile

 Graduate and/or professional with 1-3 yrs of relevant HR experience
 University Degree – Bachelors degree and/or Masters degree (Studia Licencjackie and/or Studia Magisterskie)
 Any fields of study are welcome – you need to demonstrate your transferable skills
 Ambition to achieve career progression within HR and personal development
 Ambition to succeed in a complex corporate environment
 International Background/ Ambition to work within a diverse, international team supporting a very international employee and manager population
 HR tools and systems experience is an advantage but not essential

Language Requirement: English and at least two of the following languages
• German
• Dutch
• French
• Spanish
• Italian
• Polish
• Russian
