Responsibilities As an Apprentice- Business Sales, you will be enrolled in a developmental, structured program that will provide you with the tools necessary to succeed as a Business Account Executive. Upon successful completion, you will qualify for a Business Account Executive position. The Business Account Executive is an aggressive sales position that requires you to generate new business in assigned territories through prospecting, cold calling networking and generating leads and referrals. Responsibilities: Sales Results: Generates leads and prospects new business as well as creates new service opportunities with the existing customer base. Carries “paper” quota” for 100% completion of all sales related tasks which are quantifiable, i.e.: prospecting and new appointments. Customer Retention: Responds to requests from field sales staff for information i.e.; price plan analysis and customer information while providing administrative and sales support, i.e.; proposals, marketing information, handling customer service issues, problem solving and follow-up on customer service issues; develops and coordinates customer training, education, and support regarding wireless phones, accessories and services. Provides pre-sale and post-sale support. Assists with seminars, trades shows, customer on-sites and attends when required. Order Processing: Processes all appropriate documentation for new orders/renewals and ensures policies and procedures are met with regard to sales activations. Ensures equipment activation and delivery. Supports customer MyBusiness activations. Training / Meetings: Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services and industry trends. Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience in sales or customer service with business accounts required. Understanding and knowledge of communications industry and related products & services. Strong cold-calling and lead generation capabilities preferred. Familiarity with billing systems and order entry systems a plus. The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Effective use of PC including Microsoft Office required.
