Responsible for profitable growth in personal lines. Works closely with the state executive, division marketing managers and portfolio underwriters to develop and execute plans for training, initiative introduction and profit improvement strategies to ensure established personal lines growth goals are met. Provides guidance and assistance to agents and district managers by acting as a field consultant for profitable personal lines growth.
(Essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following)
Works with division marketing manager to coordinate all personal lines initiatives and training activities.
Develops and conducts training workshops including new and existing product training, sales training, initiative introduction and the integration/usage of various tools and applications designed to accelerate profitable growth and retention.
Implements corrective action plans to address areas of unprofitability as identified through the analysis and recommendations provided by the Portfolio Underwriter.
Assists the state executive and division marketing manager in developing marketing plans to meet established growth goals. Prepares state, division and district analysis to identify deficiencies and develop corrective action plans. Analyzes competitor information and makes recommendations on product and pricing changes. Provides feedback to Home Office Product Management regarding local conditions effecting product and pricing strategies.
Assists in the introduction and ongoing support of personal line promotions.

Four-year college degree.
Five years with Farmers Group Inc. in Marketing, state office or Underwriting in a salary grade 33 or higher or similar industry experience including district managers or five years as a successful agent.
