JOB SUMMARY: PROPERTY OFFICE CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVE!
Our Property Office Claims Representative investigates first party homeowner's claims. You would be responsible for gathering and evaluating information provided by our customers, determining coverage by reviewing our Homeowner's policies, completing estimates, composing letters, and issuing payments. You would handle a variety of claims, which include theft of personal property, lightning damage, and wind damage. This is an office position with daily interaction with customers over the phone in which you would be responsible for working at a rapid pace. Time management and multi-tasking are critical to be successful in this position. Must be willing to travel up to 12 weeks each year if needed. We work in a catastrophe environment and therefore overtime and extended hours may be required. The main purpose and role of our claims adjusters is to help our customers by providing exceptional service to every person we serve.

Previous construction or home inspection experience is helpful.

Education Requirements

Four-year college degree required.

Experience Requirements

Successful completion of the Office Claims Representative Certification process required, including all prerequisites and exams. External candidates have 6 months from the date of hire to complete the process,and should have a minimum of 12 months prior claims experience.

Special Skills Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty Adjuster's License in states required. Ability to travel up to 12 weeks per year (up to 3 weeks at a time). Ability/willingness to climb ladders and walk on roofs to inspect homes for damage.
