We are looking for results-driven, customer service focused claims professionals who have a sincere interest in leading people to build a rewarding career with us as an APD Claims Supervisor!
Our APD Claims Supervisors will: o Manage a team of approximately 6-10 APD Field Claims Representatives. o Work closely with the training department to help develop their team. o Collaborate on special projects to ensure efficiency and customer service satisfaction. o Assess employee performance and through ride alongs and file quality audits. o Handle escalated claims issues.
If you have the following: o Bachelors Degree. o Excellent customer service and communication skills. o Prior APD Claims experience or claims leadership experience. o Knowledge of CCC Pathways.

*Employees assigned to the Catastrophe team will be required to travel away from their residence for a specified period of time, usually consisting of 23 days Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals. Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, but with exposure to some or all of the following environments when in the field: Uncontrolled outside environmental conditions Excessive Noise Levels Chemicals Chemical/Biological Conditions Moving Mechanical Parts Areas considered dangerous Conditions, which could affect the respiratory system or skin such as: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, oils, smoke, soot, or poor ventilation.
Four-year college degree. Completion of, or actively pursuing a major insurance designation, or actively pursuing insurance related courses.
Successful completion of technical competency exam (external hires have 90 days to take and pass the exam and should have a minimum of 3 years of prior claims experience), interview and completion of Claims Leadership Development Program required. External candidates should have a minimum of three years of prior claims experience. The same time-on-job requirement is preferred for internal candidates.
