WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?

Originate, build and process compliant loan files for State Farm BankInteract directly with customers communicating rates, terms, product features and countering objectionsProvide sales support for agents, team members and AFO communicating rates, terms, product features and countering objectionsAssist in communications to customers regarding approvals, denials and product information Answer the loan department ACD phone lineSupport new product development and implementation through system and procedural testing

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?

Develop and exercise a high level of autonomy and independent decision making for self and other team membersPerform daily file review requiring a high level of expertise in specialized technologies, tools, processes and Federal RegulationsPrepare/verify the department's ongoing compliance with all Bank, Federal and State RegulationsDevelop and utilize strong working knowledge of key Department systems/processes, programs, policies and proceduresMay develop training programs for unit members and other department staff as related to loan processing unitReview, comprehend and justify complex loan informationMake recommendations to Management and Credit Analysts to approve, modify or decline credit applications based upon Bank Policy, collateral, character or capacity of the applicant(s)Prepare legal and compliant customer loan documentation, including federally required correspondenceEvaluate the loan closing aspects of received loan requirementsAssist with presentations and tours of the departmentConduct semi- annual self-audits
