WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION? Various duties depending on department Completes training on workstations and job/department specific applications Demonstrates ability to effectively analyze and execute professional level work in the assigned department Work on special projects as assigned by the supervisor Demonstrates an understanding of State Farm policies and procedures WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION? Must be a college student Effective communication skills, both oral and written Ability to work in team environment ITEMS OF NOTE Position not eligible for merit increases or Performance Cash ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria: *Standing college Junior or Senior by the Fall of 2012 (Graduating and graduate degree students will not be eligible) *Minimum GPA of 3.0 *Successful completion of our pre-employment testing/screening process *Able to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks of full-time employment, Monday through Friday, starting effectively June 4, 2012 Preferred Skills/Qualifications: *Strong technical skills using Microsoft Office products *Participation in extracurricular activities such as student organizations, community involvement, volunteer activities Current Openings: In addition to job duties in their assigned departments, College Interns will participate in a group research project and a workshop to enhance their business acumen and presentation skills. This will involve overnight travel to Tempe, Arizona for interns assigned in our Greeley, Colorado location. The office location of this internship is1555 Promontory Circle in Greeley, CO. The intern's assignments include but are not limited to working assignments and projects either in the Claims or Underwriting Department.
