WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION? Respond to inquiries from customers and resolve customer complaints, discuss loan declinations with customer, assist agents and staff in the proper completion of loan documents Accurately interpret rate schedules, policy manuals, procedure guides and automated application processing system information to provide support for customers in the completion of consumer loan transactions Provide input to credit analysts in the second review process Obtain payoffs from lien holders in refinance or lease buy out transactions Works with Agency Field Specialists to develop relationship and expedite information necessary to and from the field Train and educate agents and staff on consumer loan program Assist service provider with the completion of service requests. WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION? Knowledge of all aspects of consumer lending and call center operations Understanding of consumer loan process and how to identify issues Assist in developing policies and procedures Project coordination Demonstrate leadership, communication, and negotiation skills ITEMS OF NOTE May work irregular hours due to time zone differences of agents and/or consumers May travel for meetings, seminars, and additional training ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Call center or consumer lending experience are a must. Please don't apply if you don't meet the requirements. The shift for this job is 10:45AM to 7:30PM and occasional saturdays are also required. There is a 12-18 month commitment for this position.
