Job Description: We are currently looking for confident individuals with an excellent track record.
Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, you will be based at our City
offices covering territory within the south east or an alternative Cisco UK location
dependant on account coverage.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
- Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned
territory.
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned
opportunities.
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and design effective solutions
- Deliver technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
- Keep up-to-date on the market, competitive solutions, products and services.
- Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and provide
consultative support in their area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.
Skills and Experience Required:
- In-depth knowledge of routing and switching technologies is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of multicast and financial trading is deserible but not essential
however the desire and ability to learn about this space is.
- Baseline SE skills and in at least one of the following area's of specialization:
Security, LAN Switching and Routing including knowledge of multicast and QoS,
Unified Communications, Optical Networking, Data Centre and Wireless.
- Competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution,
technology and product offerings.
- Proven track record of consultative networking experience, Cisco certification of
CCIE is desirable however CCNP and CCDP along with proven experience will be
considered.
- Alternative vendor experience will be considered for candidates with Strong
Routing and switching experience
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong communications & presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Comfortable applying business acumen and financial expertise to assist identify &
qualify selling opportunities as part of an account team.
- Uses ROI concepts to justify Cisco solutions
- Demonstrable ability to drive adoption of Cisco technology solutions through
channel partners, and into customers.
- Knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance
criteria and applications.
- Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership
role for the team.
