Radio Frequency (RF) Performance Engineer Intern/Co-op Selected candidate will be assigned to provide assistance to Radio Frequency (RF) & System Performance Engineers with implementing new cell- site in the network and optimizing cellular network performance, customer trouble tickets resolution, daily network performance monitoring, network problem troubleshooting, drive testing, and related projects. The intern will be responsible for generating monthly network performance reports and generating RF propagations maps. We are currently seeking candidates for a West Area 2012 internship/co-op assignments. This is a 3 – 6 month assignment. The location is Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

• Graduate student or undergraduate (junior or senior) pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Must be current student at time of internship
• US citizen or permanent resident status
• Studies and career interest in wireless communications or digital communications.
• Minimum GPA of

3.0
• Demonstrated Leadership experience in work, extracurricular or school activity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player with good organizational and planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use and apply analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self-starter, ability with demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task.
• Solid understanding of engineering concepts & drive to learn
• Able to work flexible hours and support night and weekend work as needed
