The GDC consists of field and centrally based organizations focused on Direct Marketing, Email Marketing, Interactive Marketing, Engagement Marketing, Database Marketing, Telemarketing and Partner Marketing. The Partner Demand Centre helps to deploy and scale joint marketing activities with Cisco’s local partner community to expand Cisco’s regional market coverage and revenue potential. Scope of role Reporting to the Manager of the Americas Partner Demand Centre, the PDC Designer is expected to play an active role with the regional marketing team, taking responsibility for effectively designing marketing campaigns and coordinating the execution to deliver results to Cisco’s business partner community Deliverables Key roles and responsibilities include: Manage all incoming design requests and create new program process designs where needed to support partner marketing campaign execution. Lead the launch of all marketing plays and coordinate execution (including vendors where appropriate) Regularly interact with key internal stakeholders and DG Planners to understand client goals and objectives, planning cycles and budget needs to ensure designed plays are relevant and aligned Contribute to planning forums with ideas on how to enhance play design and/or performance Design marketing plays which compliment the Marketing team’s goals for execution within an agreed time frame Define key metrics with internal stakeholders and deliver activity reporting – regularly or as needed to - internal stakeholders (eg QBR cycles) in an agreed format Analyze program metrics to understand successes, setbacks, and opportunities and communicate the same to the DG planners and clients Proactively look for ways to drive more plays or make existing plays more efficient or effective Establish positive working relationships with execution vendors, create and submit Statement of Work (SOW) documentation to enable play execution and oversee execution of deliverables defined in the SOW Act as a liaison for stakeholder to communicate with vendors Conduct regular reviews of existing vendors and regularly interview new vendors Work with the PDC Manager to identify key projects to the department, engage with Cisco stakeholders to identify potential new play areas and leverage work experience to add value to the play design process Other duties as agreed Person Specification Technical skills A sound understanding of Cisco’s key suites of technology will be an advantage, as will experience working with the Commercial and/or Channels teams. Workflow/Visio experience a plus. Experience and knowledge Specific experience and knowledge required to perform this role competently include: Minimum of five years experience in professional Marketing demand generation oriented roles working with Sales and/or Field Marketing to deliver pipeline results Familiarity with automated tools to track, measure and report upon marketing performance and contribution to a business First-hand experience execution marketing campaigns through telemarketing, events, email and direct mail. Online marketing and marketing automation experience is an advantage. Excellent time management, communication and organization skills Demonstrable experience devising and implementing lead management processes and practices, including tracking and reporting on performance Track record using initiative to problem solve and make decisions Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
