JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall:
Part of the End of Lease and Asset Management Team. This team monitors and controls all of Cisco assets in the field to manage risk and optimise asset use. At end of lease customers have many options: including return, extend, upgrade and so on. The End of Lease Manager runs end of lease negotiations and looks at the overall portfolio to balance it.
The job holder will need to bring a balance of finance, equipment and negotiation expertise. S/he will be very resourceful and capable of managing time and solving problems effectively, highly self-sufficient: strong evidence of this in previous roles is a pre-requisite.
Relationships:
Reports to the End of Lease and Asset Manager Europe and Emerging East.
Interfaces with a range of Cisco customer contacts from the CFO down.
Works with local in country Sales organisations and ensures that opportunities are not missed plus monitors calendar for significant end dates
Interfaces with Operations who deal with any lease through it’s primary term, where an end of lease deal with any secondary terms.
Deals effectively with finance institutions in situations where Cisco outsources or shares the leasing risk
Deals with receivers, courts, and legal in cases of repossession.
Deliverables:
Positively impact customer satisfaction through effective management of end-of-lease.
Has a huge impact on profitability: world-wide End of Lease accounts for approaching 50% of Cisco Capital profits.
Serve as an In-place Remarketing Analyst (IpR) in the Cisco Capital Business Infrastructure and Operations group.
Manage the administration and operational tasks associated with an assigned portfolio of Cisco Capital customers throughout the end of lease process: including but not limited to buyout and termination negotiation, quoting and invoicing activities, lease restructuring, asset management, hybrid transactions, lease extension pricing and bankruptcy related issues. Work as part of a cross-functional team with other finance, operational, and sales teams within Cisco Capital and across Cisco Inc.
Participate in resolution of customer satisfaction issues by working with lease managers, pricing analysts, and accounting team to understand customer issues and propose solutions, taking into account both the client's and Cisco Capital's needs. Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies to determine appropriate action.
