This position involves the following: 1. Work with NCEs to create and refine practice documentation: HLD, LLD, etc. 2. Standardize existing documentation set to make it look uniform. Review/edit content of practice deliverables for clarity, presentation and consistent formatting. Contribute to creation of documentation standards and documentation specifications. 3. Ensure appropriate organization, storage and access of all documentation 4. Produce new user documentation working with Engineers and Business Teams within GMP. 5. Maintain existing user and other documentation affected by software enhancements and software or development change requests. 6. Produce and deliver documentation for customer projects while adhering to established department standards and timelines. 7. Create documentation design specifications based on business requirements, documentation and functional specifications. (This is based on the GMP project process and collateral created by the PM team) 8. Create technical and other presentations using PowerPoint 9. Produce Training documentation working in conjunction with Mobility Practice engineering team on new products, functionality and services. Experience: - 4+ years of related business experience in the Telecommunications industry - A team-focused, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects to completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven engineering environment - Superb oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills - A working knowledge of some or all of the following areas: -> 3rd Generation wireless data and voice networking -> IP data networking, planning, and security -> Telecommunications -> Linux/UNIX -> Network operations and performance management -> Scripting (FrameScript, shell, other) - Working knowledge of the following software applications: -> Adobe FrameMaker -> Quadralay WebWorks ePublisher Pro -> Adobe Acrobat -> Microsoft Visio -> Microsoft Word -> Corel Draw (optional) -> Adobe RoboHelp (optional) - Structured authoring and/or XML experience a plus Table.Right {float: Right;text-align: Right;border:0;padding:3px;} DIV.VEclearFloatAfterElement {clear:both;visibility:hidden;height:0px;} Cisco is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer Cisco is an E-Verify employer.
