Responsibilities Responsibilities Actively network with HR professionals; identify alternative recruitment methods; and assist with pre-screening qualified candidates for vacant positions. Other HR projects will be assigned • Identify multiple recruiting sources for diversity and college recruiting • Research organizations and associations for a potential candidate pool • Attend recruiting events job/career fairs, open houses as an active participant • Develop relationships with colleges for future interns, co-ops and graduates • Meet diversity goals by identifying diverse recruiting sources for job openings • Participate in phone screens and surveys ~~ print online applications/resumes • Analyze and report on current recruiting sources and their effectiveness • Create new hire packets • New Hire files/term files established and filed within 7 calendar days of NHO • Provide administrative support in staffing process. • Other Administrative Tasks as assigned Qualifications Must be a full-time student at the time of internship • Undergrad (junior or senior) pursuing a degree in Human Resources or equivalent; • Prior experience with customer service and/or support • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently • Appropriately handle and maintain confidential information • Strong PC skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint) • Highly organized and effectively able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
