WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?

Answers telephone and/or e-mail inquiries from customers and agents
Initiates, activates, and services accounts
Contacts customers and/or vendors to obtain information or resolve problems
Processes and/or routes transactions, requests, and inquiries using established procedures


WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?

Knowledge of bank products
Basic understanding of response center or processing center dynamics


ITEMS OF NOTE

Entry into this job family may require passing additional background checks
May work a non-traditional schedule including weekends, evenings, overnights, and/or holidays
May be required to work overtime
May be required to attain and retain state licenses


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Bank Response Center is looking for individuals who are interested in embarking to the fascinating banking world. The individual will receive inbound calls, and will assist customers and State Farm Agents. The representative will answer loan and deposit questions, resolve issues, and help State Farm agents with banking questions. The individual must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and must be Bilingual in Spanish. They must be flexible to possible schedule changes based on our call volume. The Bank Response Center is a great place to work, and offers the opportunity to develop a person's banking acumen. There is an 18 month incumbency period with State Farm Bank before a representative is able to post to other departments within State Farm.
