Store position description CarMax is searching for a Supply Associate to work in a team environment to locate, receive and distribute parts to both internal and external customers. The Supply Associate is also responsible for assisting technicians with determining the correct part number(s), receiving parts into inventory, proper documentation of all transactions, returning incorrect/defective parts to vendors, inventory control and maintenance, OSHA/EPA compliance, and outstanding customer service. Qualified candidates must have the ability to: - Speak and listen effectively in dealing with customers/associates, both in person and over the phone - Perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment - Read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records - Compose documents and spreadsheets using various software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel - Understand numeric filing system - Lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs |
