Job Description: Sales Coverage, Crediting, and Compensation Business Analyst

There are multiple technologies and international business processes that are used to support numerous business and Go-to-Market models. In an effort to standardize these technologies while maximizing business process efficiency, this role will help support the compensation solutions for Goal to Commission process (Cisco-Wide).

Business Analyst could or would be responsible for:
• Document existing processes and business challenges, which could include setting improvement goals, definitions and execution of stakeholder's requirements to improve processes.
• Write and/or review business requirement documents, review approval of system functionality, and participate in activities to drive change and adoption.
• Oversee execution: manage cross-initiative scope and dependencies and define critical path/capability sequencing
• Remove barriers: help address issues across different initiatives within G2C for smoother and timely execution
• Assess risk: identify risks to program success and create mitigation plans
• Manage stakeholder relationships: identify and establish partnership with stakeholders to build support and secure sponsorship
• Understand end-to-end system for G2C including compensation process, sales crediting, commission, hierarchy, territory management, and forecasting (legacy and Phoenix delivered)
Proactive collaboration & and engagement with cross-functional teams
SME & Knowledge sharing, documentation of manual processes, policies and procedures

BA responsibilities could or would include:

• Identify opportunities to streamline, simplify, globalize compensation processes to maximize effectiveness.
• Drives innovated compensation processes and improve sales understanding of the Compensation approach.
• Acts as liaison to the field sales organization for all compensation related needs to include system enhancement, processes changes and business requirements for system updates.
• Work with Geo Leads to incorporate the long term requirements into the future systems and automation required to support the business.

To be successful, a BA must have demonstrated ability in the following skills:
• Solid process management methodologies knowledge. Ability and interest in actually using those methodologies to record/track progress
• Excellent communications skills: presentation, influencing, coordination/mediation
• Excellent reputation as a collaborator, especially cross-organizations
• Proven ability to learn a business subject fast
• Ability to see and plan the big picture including solid understanding of how the different pieces interconnect with each other through projects and deliverables
• Ability to work well with a variety of people and to be flexible in taking on different roles/responsibilities as program evolves
