21st Century Insurance is hiring 15 Sales Representatives!!
**Training Class begins Monday, June 4th, 2012** Paid 7 week training is Monday - Friday, 8am- 5pm
• Receive incoming calls from potential customers as well as web originated outbound transfers. (No cold calling!) • Provide insurance quotes and information in a courteous and professional manner • Meet all sales performance objectives in accordance with company risk selection criteria and sound ethical sales methods and procedures
Shift/Schedule after training: TBD but will be a set schedule week to week. May include a Saturday or Sunday as regularly scheduled work day. Mid to late morning start times.
Base Salary plus opportunity to earn incentive/commission based on exceeding monthly sales goals!!!
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Sales Representatives gather required data from potential customers to generate accurate quotes and ultimately bind the business. They also answer questions regarding coverage and cost so that the customer can select the most appropriate coverage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to excel in a structured work environment • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Besides some sedentary work, job duties require some or all of the following physical activities: Standing, carrying/lifting up to 10 pounds, seeing and hearing, walking, reaching, pushing and pulling, and speaking, reading, and writing.
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
High School Diploma/GED
Personal Lines License - obtain through training - must obtain within 60 days of licensing training
• Previous sales experience • Previous call center or retail experience • Stable work history • Proficient Computer skills and ability to type 25 wpm
This position requires the successful completion of a pre-employment typing test of 25 wpm and successful completion of a workplace skills assessment. Both of these pre-employment tests will determine continuation of the interview process.
