Major duties: This position is responsible for the overall operation of all web based products created or run by the athletic department. This position will coordinate and assist in the daily operations of the official athletic website including, but not limited to the design and functionality of the site, live video streaming, video/audio archive library, and sponsorship fulfillment. Must work well with coaches and staffs to meet the needs and goals of Texas A&M athletics programs. Other duties as required. Occasional duties: Manage live coverage of sporting events through all digital media resources. Manage full-time and student labor force for digital media. Requirements
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Five (5) years full-time experience managing, maintaining and troubleshooting websites and other forms of digital media. Experience developing websites and web features. Detailed knowledge of new, web based technologies. Ability to multi-task and organize a staff to complete projects for the athletic department. Must have excellent communication skills. Be creative and imaginative. Ability to manage production schedules. Work with student labor force and ability to teach digital media skills to student labor force. Detailed knowledge of content management. Ability to communicate well with coaches and staff. Ability to learn new technologies. Basic knowledge of video equipment. Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
