ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITIES At Belcan Engineering we provide the highest quality Engineering services worldwide. As we continue to grow, we seek customer focused individuals to share in our success. We are looking for qualified candidates in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the following positions: System Engineer Will develop system-level requirements and designs from customer requirements for avionics sub-systems. Allocates requirements to hardware or software based on architecture design decisions. Works closely with customer, electronic design engineers, software engineers, and verification team to ensure sub-system meets customer requirements. Develops system level tests. Qualifications 5 or more years applicable experience. Aerospace experience preferred. BSSE required. Broad interdisciplinary experience and training required. DOORS experience preferred. Development experience required. Senior Software Engineer Will participate in avionics systems development and verification including systems and software development lifecycle, including requirements development, design, code, integration, verification, and maintenance. Works closely with customer to ensure customer is satisfied. Qualifications 3 or more years applicable experience. Aerospace experience preferred. DO-178B experience preferred. VandV, C programming skills a plus, Ada programming experience a plus, DOORS experience a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Software Application Developer Essential Functions Will participate in software development of avionics systems and simulations using Agile development methodology and object oriented development environments. Responsible for the complete development lifecycle, including requirements development, design, code, integration, verification, and maintenance. Works closely with customer to ensure customer is satisfied. Qualifications and Experience 3 or more years applicable experience. Masters degree or equivalent in CS preferred. Aerospace experience a plus. C# and C++ experience preferred. Object Oriented programming experience required. DOORS experience a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
