PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Provide customer service to registered CarMax auction dealers, and store associates (Business Office & Buyers Office) by logging in to the Auction phone line and bringing all issues to resolution.  Notes are updated in the Wholesale Registration System, follow up emails or phones calls are made if applicable. Partner with Department Director on more complex issues.
•Make prompt decisions if dealers can attend our auctions.
•Assist dealers with issues when logging on to the CarMax Auctions web site
•Fax/Mail/Email packets, run lists, performance reports to dealers
•Promote the equities of Carmax Auctions to potential customers.
•Review phone calls to discover opportunities for better customer service.
2.Register Dealers to attend our Auctions:
•Understand all state and local requirements for dealers attending our auctions.
•Follow up with dealers/financial institutions to acquire missing documents/information.
3.Determine Initial Check Writing limits
•Run and interpret Credit Bureaus and Lexis Nexis reports.
•Determine dealer’s initial check writing limit.
•Communicate check writing limit to dealers
4.Provide Leadership to Registration Process by participating in quarterly rotating “Cell Leader” program
•Track and communicate teams progress toward daily goals.
•Re-align resources as needed to accomplish goals.
•Recognize and provide feedback on strong performances and opportunities of team members

BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: This position plays a vital role for CarMax auctions by registering dealers and ensuring all required documents are received and processed correctly and providing support to auction managers, dealers and stores via phone, email and fax.
