Description:
CarMax is currently seeking a qualified applicant to join its Loss Prevention team

•Monitor Command Center technology to safeguard the assets of CarMax locations across the country.
•Partner with local law enforcement and store staff to successfully resolve issues.
•Effectively document summaries of all events monitored.
•Maintain security related equipment on a daily basis by performing routine audits and communicating issues in need of resolution.
•Administer in-house programs including, but not limited to Access Control System, LP Database, and home office safety and security programs.
•Provide inter-departmental support of Loss Prevention vendors to ensure proper resolution of issues related to security equipment." />

Description:

•Must be able to work overnight hours (12 hour shifts) one night per week and one day shift on Sunday (8 am - 8 pm).
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•College degree preferred, but not required.
•Two years in Loss Prevention/Security-related field or computer related field.
•Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal guidance.
•High ethical standards.
•Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both associates and managers
•Active listener; seeks and understands different perspectives.
•Ability to analyze situations and determine the level of risk and elevation of the situation to management and/or authorities.
•Evaluate current systems and procedures to determine the effectiveness and minimize risk.
