Our Commercial Auto Research & Development group is seeking a R&D Analyst to dig into data to help answer business questions. A well-qualified candidate is intellectually curious, loves to work with data, strives for constant improvement and excels in a highly collaborative culture. This position will provide you with the foundation of our product design and factors along with the opportunity to interact with various groups in PCA including Pricing and Marketing. Our R&D Analysts are bold, innovative thinkers with uncompromising energy. Responsibilities include the strategy and execution for performance monitoring of new product models. This includes early detection of potential issues, recommended solutions and communicating the results to all levels of management. Depending upon experience and aptitude, additional responsibilities would be the R&D Business Sponsor for product enhancement projects. This would entail end to end analysis of obtaining external data, conducting the analysis, executing on the cost benefit analysis, and implementation with our IT partners. This position requires strong skills in problem solving, communication, project management and the ability to work with large datasets using a variety of Business Intelligence tools and data. Also a good sense of business judgment will be important in times when data may be fairly thin. Qualifications:
