Staff Community Relations Rep Position Description Job Summary: This position is located in Denver, CO as a member of Anadarko's Rockies Region Government Relations Team. Qualifications: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in non-profit grant making - Demonstrated ability to develop corporate leadership into community leadership - Familiarity with grant review processes - Management of $1M+ budget - Strong relationships with multiple non-profits, including leadership and/or board positions - Proven experience developing employee volunteer programs - Public relations and communications experience Responsibilities: - Coordinate and manage all efforts and processes critical to the successful delivery of company sponsored charitable initiatives and fundraising events - Review various philanthropic and charitable proposals - Meet with non-profit organizations to understand opportunities for support - Interact with field office supervisors and employees to maximize APC participation in local community events - Plan and oversee volunteer activities throughout the region, ensuring volunteer presence within the community while assisting teams with team building goals - Design, coordinate, and manage educational outreach programs and events - Act as corporate representative at various fundraisers and community events - Develop and maintain supportive corporate relationship with local non-profit organizations - Work closely with upper level management to identify their interests for charitable giving and encourage involvement in the community - Oversee public relations plan promoting APC's philanthropic efforts Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other related field required Relocation: This position is eligible for domestic relocation Travel Requirements: The percentage of travel required for this position is 10 - 20% Work Schedule: This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule Required Skills .
