All Cisco Manufacturing are outsourced to Contract Manufacturing Partners. The Product Operations at TANDBERG works in deep interaction with Cisco R&D and the Contract Manufacturing Partners in phase-in of new product development projects as well as sustaining the products until EOL. Area of responsibility: • Analyse and drive design for Manufacturability (DFx) and Design Margin analysis/Robustness • Perform new product and sustaining engineering • Value engineering (component selection, process efficiency, and design changes) • Drive Product Cost Avoidance in NPI • Technical lifecycle management • Knowledge and application of industry innovations / trends to product or program Educational background: • Master of Science, Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent Experience preferred: • Some years working experience in Electronics production and/or development • Design tool proficiency (DFx, schematic, CAD, other CAE tools) • Good communication skills • Analytical and structural predilection • Self-driven, proactive and target oriented team player You will be part of an enthusiastic and a highly skilled working environment.
