Responsibilities Supervisor-Talent Acquisition This position is responsible for strategic and day-to-day management of a geographically-decentralized team of 10-15 experienced recruiting staff employees who execute candidate-facing aspects of the recruiting process. Responsibilities include: Headcount planning and resource allocation; team management; and partnering with other Midwest Area Supervisor-Talent Acquisition to ensure optimal employee compliance with recruiting processes and Service Level Agreements. Headcount Planning / Resource Allocation: Partners with Hiring Managers to understand and forecast annual hiring needs. Develops and maintains current knowledge of workload balance and employee skillsets. Identifies client groups / staffing initiatives in need of additional resources and assigns employees with lower workload and comparable skillsets to provide assistance. Communicates clearly with employees to ensure fulfillment of shifted responsibilities and maintenance of quality candidate experience. Team Management: Oversees geographically-decentralized team of experienced recruiting professionals. Coaches and develops direct reports. Develops practices to ensure communication and employee adherence to recruiting processes. Provides guidance and issue resolution, as appropriate. Identifies employee areas for development and partners with employees to develop solutions. Develops and communicates team goals and institutes methods of accomplishment and tracking. Ensures team is up-to-date on the most current recruiting trends, i.e., social marketing. Travel is required (up to 40% of time). Relationship Management: Partners with other Supervisor-Talent Acquisition to identify strategies to minimize potential for process or relationship issues that could slow Area recruiting. Establishes Service Level Agreements with team and reviews with team regularly to ensure adherence. Metrics: Holds responsibility for ensuring team meets recruiting targets including: Time to fill; diversity of candidate slate; college hires; new hire turnover.Qualifications: Qualifications Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience • 4+ years Human Resources experience with at least 2 years of sourcing/recruiting experience required • Leadership experience required • Strong computer skills and ability to utilize HRIS system; PeopleSoft experience preferred; proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed to assess candidates and make recommendations for courses of action based upon data • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Detail-oriented • Comfort with social networking tools • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Facilitation/training skills preferred • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to travel up to 40% of time • Internet-savvy Equal Employment Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer m/f/d/v. |
