The Associate Manager CPG Development offers the right candidate an opportunity to become deeply involved in the most dynamic trend in the CPG industry; working at the intersection between manufacturers and retailers in their use of use of loyalty card information to drive strategic and tactical business decision making. The primary role of the Associate Manager CPG Develop is to provide customer marketing and customer development support to the Vice President CPG Development and 2-3 client team Directors who are working with 15-20 major CPG manufacturers. This role involves conducting creative analysis and synthesizing insights to support both the customer development and revenue generating and needs of the VP and assigned CPG Directors. Additional responsibilities also include measuring CPG Return on Investment, synthesizing new analytic approaches/ templates, monitoring client engagement, tracking and managing collaborative projects conducted between the retailer and the CPGs and collecting/disseminating Best Demonstrated Practices across the teams and CPG clients. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, is required. Must have minimum of 2 years FMCPG experience working in a retail or CPG environment conducting category management-type analysis. Knowledge of the business strategies and tactics employed by both CPG and FMCPG retailers is required. Must have hands on experience extracting, manipulating and analyzing FMCPG scanning, panel and other research information data sources. Must be experienced in synthesizing information into actionable insights in a retail and/or CPG environment. Proven track record of being a pro-active team member who consistently exceeds expectations and is comfortable pushing the envelope in their work is essential. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to create clear, concise, and actionable materials for the client. |
