Farmers Insurance Group Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Sales Representative for the Olathe branch. Competitive salary along with an outstanding benefits package.
Preferred candidates will have: • Sales and/or Marketing Experience • Selling and Presentation Experience • Strong Customer Service Skills •6 months - 1 year previous cash handling experience in a Financial Institution •Strong verbal and written communication skills
Duties will include but not be limited to: • Cross-selling of products and services within the branch • Promote products through regional area marketing • Process new accounts, loans service and activity
• Performs any and all teller functions including cash deposits and withdrawals, check deposits and withdrawals, money order sales, travelers check sales, cashier's check sales, and cross selling of services and products. • Disburses line-of-credit and MasterCard advances. • Opens and loads certificate account details on computer system. • Responsible for accurate cash and transaction balancing daily in accordance with the Credit Union's minimum teller balancing standards. • Gathers any or all necessary loan application support documentation for forwarding to appropriate lending officer. Answers member inquiries concerning loan policies and procedures. • Carries out home office policy and procedure directives as necessary, including the effective administration of member privacy, confidentiality of transactions, and security of Credit Union hardware and software. • Provides feedback or recommendations to the supervisor for changes in branch operating policies and procedures. • Performs appropriate member account (file maintenance) changes. • Assists supervisor in training incoming employees. • Assists lead branch counselor in regional marketing promotional activities. • Prepares periodic marketing reports. • Performs other functions as assigned.

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum.
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment. *May involve 10% - 15% travel.
High school diploma or equivalent.
