Department of Children and Families (DCF) SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST ASSISTANT STARTING SALARY: $ 41,933.69 Under supervision in the DCF, this position is responsible for user support, the preparation, installation and configuration of hardware and software and troubleshooting hardware and network problems. Does other related work as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Experience - Four (4) years of experience in the design and preparation of programs for information processing equipment utilizing current operating systems and technology. NOTE: An Associate’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the indicated experience. NOTE: Possession of twelve (12) semester hour credits in data processing from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of indicated experience.
