Each time you visit the site or provide us with information, you are, by doing so, accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy at that time.
The site contains links to other websites over which we have no control. GreekDiversity is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other websites to which you choose to link from this site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other websites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information.
We also do not control the data use practices of employers or others who may access your information on this site.
Information We Collect and Retain
We collect the personal and demographic information you choose to provide us. We may also collect information about how you use our site and the areas of our site that you visit to assist with site optimization.
How Information is Used
Information you post in public areas of the site or placed in the searchable Resume database will be accessed, used, and stored by others around the world. We strive to provide a safe, secure environment by attempting to limit access to our database to legitimate users, but cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will not gain access. We also cannot control how authorized users store or transfer information downloaded from the database, so you should ensure that you do not post sensitive information to GreekDiversity.
We use the information you provide us to deliver the products and services we offer, and to operate and improve our site. Our services may include the display of personalized content and advertising. We may use your information to contact you about GreekDiversity site updates, conduct surveys, or informational and service-related communications, including important security updates.
Resume Privacy Options
On the My Resume Manager page, you may choose to have your resume listed as either “searchable” or “anonymous.”
Anonymous resumes will hide the following information to employers as of 11/2/10: first name, last name, mobile phone, email address, uploaded recommendation letter file, uploaded resume file.
Searchable resumes will show all of the information that you have entered to employers using the searchable Resume database. Please note that for both the anonymous and searchable options, any content that you placed in a text field will be visible to any employer that accesses the searchable Resume database. Be mindful of the information you chose to include in this section.
Disclosure of Information to Others
We share information where legally required. Information collected on our site is stored in whole or in part in the United States, and may be subject to U.S. law.
We may share your information with third parties who help us in the delivery of our own products and services to you. These third parties may not use that information for any purpose other than assisting us in providing those products and services.
We may use your information to contact you about other products or services available from our affiliates.
We may also share your information with third parties who may contact you about their products or services.
We may disclose and transfer information if our business is sold or acquired.
Protecting Your Information
You should always be mindful about the types of personal information you include on your resume. For example, you should never include the following personal information:

- Driver's license number

- Passwords
- Date of birth
- Non-work related personal information (eye color, marital status, etc.)
You should also never share the personal information listed above with a prospective employer until you are confident that the employer and employment opportunity is legitimate.
You may review, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by logging in and editing your profile. We will delete your personal information, but will retain logs, demographic and statistical information about you and keep an archival copy of your information. If your personal information was previously accessed by others using the site, we are unable to delete the information from their systems.
If you change your mind about receiving communications from GreekDiversity or other parties, you may opt out from communications with that company by clicking the “opt out” or “unsubscribe” button available through communications sent from that company.
