Sr Specialist / Specialist, Commercial Contracting

The CSPO Specialist will assist in driving North America Commercial Contracts to full execution within required timelines, while working with cross-functional partners such as Legal, Sourcing, Compliance, Finance, Purchasing, GIS, and AP, as well as Commercial external vendors. They will also support the CSPO team by creating awareness of components for a successful contracting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review requests for CDAs, Service Statements, Master Agreements, Amendments, Termination Letters and License/Subscription agreements, ensuring proper reviews occur if needed
  • Ability to finalize contracts, prepping signature ready versions
  • Provide guidance to the Commercial Organization on the contracting process, including contracting with Healthcare Professionals, as well as provide training materials and tools
  • Prepare weekly in progress contract reports to discuss at weekly meetings with Sourcing and Legal
  • Provide support for Commercial Advisory Boards to streamline all planning, contracting, payment, and Global Spend Transparency (GST) requirements
  • Attend functional monthly finance meetings to provide ad hoc contracting and/or invoicing updates to business stakeholders
  • Assist with updates and maintenance of the CommContracts Team SharePoint site as needed
  • Support functional teams on the Purchase Order and payment process
  • Administer all Exhibit Requests submitted by the US Sales Team, ensuring correct information from centers for timely payment, maintenance of records, and accurate GST reporting

Qualification:

  • 1 - 3 years' experience in a contracting role
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Appropriately handles highly confidential document
  • Strong organizational and detail oriented skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to triage system issues
  • Exercise sound, independent judgment to regularly handle new and complex situations
  • Proven ability to successfully handle multiple, high urgency, requests in a reliable manner
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to clearly communicate statuses to the appropriate people in a timely manner
