The role is responsible for developing, communicating and maintaining the technical documentation, positioning information and content at the product line level across a portfolio of products. They manage essential product information through products development and lifecycles through a strong connection with Product Managers, Engineers and Technical Owners. This role collaborates with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and use of the right medium for the message as they work efficiently to generate materials that enable and support sales. They work across a broad range of stakeholders to effectively communicate each products vision in support of the business goals.

This role requires a person with strong writing skills, experience working in the development and delivery of educational assessment and technology applications. Domain knowledge of Literacy and English Language Arts in US K-12 schools, English language assessment internationally, and/or domain knowledge of Mathematics in US K-12 schools is strongly preferred.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


• Act as a scholar of MetaMetrics products both existing and new

• Create standardized product documentation that makes products easier to use and requires fewer instructions

• Communicate technical details and product benefits through product documentation, training, and other dissemination outlets for internal and external audiences

• Support Product Managers in developing product marketing strategies/Go-to-Market plans (pricing, benefits, product launching, etc.)

• Support Marketing in the crafting of compelling messaging

• Work across teams (Product, Research & Development, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance)

• Test marketing product features through user testing and focus groups and gathers usability feedback

• Performs other duties as assigned



Supervisory Responsibilities

None. Provides support only in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

. Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: Successful experience operating within a highly interactive team-based environment, especially software development. Experience in project management or related field preferable but not required. Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university a plus.


Computer Skills: Proficient in internet navigation and basic office software e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Experience with project management, support desk, QA, and design tools a plus.
